Corpus Synthesis

Propaganda documents the techniques, platforms, and operations through which the Trump/MAGA movement manufactures and sustains its narrative. It is not merely a catalog of false statements (those appear under Disinformation and Elections). Rather, it examines the machinery itself — how propaganda works at scale.

Ten propaganda techniques documented:
1. Firehose of Falsehood — overwhelming volume of claims prevents fact-checking (30,000+ false claims in first term)
2. The Big Lie — repeating a massive falsehood until it becomes truth for believers (the "stolen election")
3. Gish Gallop — rapid-fire claims that can't all be debunked in real time
4. Flood the Zone — creating so many controversies that none receive adequate scrutiny
5. Slopaganda — AI-generated imagery creating a post-truth visual environment
6. Stochastic Terrorism — coded language inciting violence with plausible deniability
7. Epistemic Closure — training followers to reject all outside information as "fake news"
8. Whataboutism — deflecting criticism by pointing at opponents' alleged misconduct
9. Dehumanization — framing out-groups as non-human threats ("animals," "vermin")
10. Anticipatory Delegitimization — framing future criticism as illegitimate before it occurs

These techniques form an increasingly sophisticated machinery of deception — one that has evolved from simple campaign rhetoric to state-level operations using AI, government infrastructure, and coordinated narrative control.
