Trump posted on Truth Social: I know nothing about Project 2025. I have not seen it, have no idea who is in charge of it... I disagree with some of the things theyre saying and some of the things theyre saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them. Axios reported Trump was irked by Project 2025 receiving credit for its proposals, as the associations threatened his general election messaging. The disavowal was contradicted by documented ties between his campaign and the project.
