New to theunderKurrent? It's time to get Kurrent! The underkurrent was created as people-powered media platform (antithesis to social media, algorithms, divisiveness, division, chaos, and corporate greed - those functions as social media intended). Compounding this, we live in a 24/7 news cycle, where instead of overarching stories and subtext being explored, there's only an endless see of voices, and no manner of ways to come together.
We're all about camaraderie, movement and empowerment of "we the People": demand for accountability/justice, elucidating truth, conne…
Site URLs
Quick update:
We have overhauled the URL schemas for the site. We apologize in-advance if you've been brought/directed towards the site, from an external link and are unable to find the content. We've both attempted to implement Server Code 301 - redirects; for backwards compatibiltiy and remain implemented for an indefinitely (but temporary period of time). Thus, you should not notice a difference, other than the URLs being served from a different URL, upon proxying the traffic over and loading the page.
That said, if you encounter any broken pages, notice anythings off, or core si…
Trump's Windfall in Investments Against the Last Three Presidents is Staggering
Trump: $4.2B
Joe Biden: $100M
Barack Obama: $1.6M
George W. Bush: $3.2M
So before you thank the president for not taking a salary, recognize the facts.
Corporate Monopolies and Backroom Deals During Trump's 1st Term
I haven't heard the term antitrust, in nearly ~25 years - when it was in vogue and there was a movie, by the same name.
Since then, however, the guard-rails have been systematically removed. We truly live in an age of crony capitalism, where pay-to-win within policy and government is the norm. Just look at the Trump Gold Card, or TrumpRx.gov, for instance. Yes... you've read that right: TrumpRx.gov. This means that Trump is using the federal .gov Top Level Domain, which is reserved for governmental use. This obviously goes against the emoluments clause, of a president to not make mo…
Trump-regime Punished Blue States by Cutting Federal Grants
This is very much par for the course. The Trump administration actively admitted in federal court, that it punished any states that voted blue in the 2024 midterms.
These are exactly the kind of abuses and over-reach of federal power that's a clear example of presidential abuses of power. Of course, it was no accident that SCOTUS teed up Trump's 2nd term to offer him blanket immunity, so he could go about punishing and attacking his enemies, starting wars, or worse.
This is a presidency that is out of control and we're not even halfway through it.
This is How It Happened...
It's not by accident: it's a design feature.
A Corrupt Administration Coming After Our Voting Rights
Make no doubt about it, this is the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States.
Right now, Democrats must be planning, a blueprint, and 50-150 years of Nuremberg trials. Make an example, disincentivize future abuses of our democracy.
In the meantime, I'll be doing my part to raise awareness of the 25+ abuses of this administration, when it comes to attacking our right to vote.
Trump's Attempts Plot to Steal the Midterms
While not an absolutely exhaustive list, this video should provide you critical details associated with the Trump-regime's attempts to rig/steal the mid-terms. Absolutely no option is left on the table.
In the coming weeks, I'll be putting together theunderKurrent's 1st official video, published to YouTube (as well as the Videos section), that will clearly outline the 25+ stratagems and gambits that this regime is actively utilizing to suppress the vote, undermine our elections, and breed distrust with election voter confidence.
I am not abashed to state, that this man is an a…
Mitch McConnel is Not Well, or Not Alive
This is par for the course, with this regime - absolute opaqueness. They don't want to lose a vote, or a congressional seat. I would at this point, not be at all surprised, if we later find out that McConnel passed away, or is suffering from full-on Alzheimers. However, we're likely to never find that out under this current regime, because as you know... they have a patterned track record, of hiding information from the public. We've seen this with the Epstein files, with Iran, and even with Trump's health.
When will the insanity stop? Hopefully after the mid-terms. Howeve…
This Trump-Regime Cannot Accept the 2020 as The Loss It Was
Ever notice how they always make widespread claims of fraud in our election, while never backing it up? That's because there is absolutely no basis for it.
Therefore, it should be trivial to argue, yet again, the Trump-regime isn't trying this case truly on its merits - but rather, in the court of public opinion. Any voter suppression and sewing of mistrust in our elections that are possible, they are going to pursue. Bar none.
I hope everyone realizes that the reason why they are pushing these lies, is not only for governmental capture in perpetuity, but - perhaps more importantly …
20,000+ in Salt Lake City Show Up for Bernie Sanders/AOC's FightOligarchy Tour
Now people just need to show up, and show out - for elections and for we the People to raise our voices in mass dissent - should Trump, and Oligarchs, try to gaslight us with an national emergency or gaslight us - on what is otherwise a very clear Blue Tsunami rolling in. 🌊
Ty Cobb Believes Trump's July 16th 2026 Speech is Exactly The Kind of Predicate for Trump Seeking to Declare a National Emergency
And I don't just tend to agree, I fully agree with Ty on this.
Over the course of the past decade, Trump has never once not told the American people exactly who he is. He has been parroting this narrative of wide-spread interference in elections since before he was even president, the 1st time around.
Now: just look back, at last time he was president and lost (in Nov 2020 in the lead-up and following January 6th). However, the main difference - at least back then - there were guard-rails (of sorts; certainly push-back) surrounding this thing.
There's a reason behind why SCOTUS'…
Trump's Address Last Night (7/16/26): Only Serves to Demonstrate The Trump Regime is Undermining and Subverting our Free and Fair Elections!
We're about to go public with the release of our WIP Elections timeline and regular videos, regarding the elections abuses by this Trump regime.
In the meantime, however: this video broadly outlines my expectations regarding the path and lies this Trump regime will spew, utilize and engineer - in it's process and goal of undermining our democracy and free and fair elections process.
Please stay tuned, and reach out if you are interested in becoming a site Kurator!
theunderKurrent is looking for Kurators!
While today marks the start of the official hard-launch and June 18th to present was the soft-launch: we're looking for kurators!
We're attempting to redefine both social media and the news media landscape, as we know it! We all recognize the power in knowing that we must become the change we seek, powers in numbers and shared voice and vision. We can help to demystify and develop this koalition. Time is running down, as the 2026 midterms rapidly approach.
This period in time is the proving ground on whether democracy survives, through the people embodying the movement we seek, or w…
Befittingly: We're in the Middle of an Unprecedented Heatwave and Presidency (one that should be un-presidented, IMMEDIATELY!)
This video has literally, mirrored my observations and sentiments, exactly!
Now the preverbal question question, is what are we going to do about this? We treat our social and political discourse, much in the same way we've treated our environment: with complete and utter lack of regard. The very document enshrined of our founding has outlined the answers we seek to such situations - I'm just saying. We must be pragmatic with our solutions, as well as read between the lines. The whole: we're going to win the mid-terms bit, or expect Jon Ossuff, Mabdani, or Gavin Newsom to fix e…
The Sad Reality About Those with Disabilities and the Lies Told About 'Waste, Fraud, Abuse, associated with Medicaid/Disability'
Much love to you brother... been there before too with my disability. So many people complain and parrot the idea of mass fraud with disability or medicaid. That's so absolutely laughably wrong. The guy is right, they require round the clock documentation and literally if you have 20% function that permits you only to work 20% of the time (8 hours per week)... that's still considered not disabled; it doesn't matter if next week you're completely not functional, or that 32 hours per month is not enough to live off of. Now imagine that same scenario and be expected to come u…
Lindsey Graham Passes Away at 71 (absolutely bizarre, mid-fever hallucinations? US Captured by Israeli state?!)
This has got to be - by far: one of the most suspicious - notices of passing - I have ever witnessed by the mainstream I mean hijacked authoritarian news media... I have ever seen.
The Minister of Defense of Israel sends his condolences? After Lindsey Graham... the warmonger POS - suffers a sudden onset illness? Is that illness at all assocaited with the sorts of illnesses that form when you start developing some last-minute ethics and involves being pushed off a bridge (or out a window) - by the Trump administration? While I'm half-joking, I'm asking seriously... given the very str…
An Absolute Essential Primer on Trump's Strategy to Gaslight and Create The New Normal We Are Now Living In - a Decade Later
It might have seemed preposterous a decade ago: Trump lies and gaslights, gets called out, never admits defeat. Rinse, repeat -- but each iteration more extreme. Now with a compromised government and bought-out media, the very thing he falsely claimed a decade ago actually exists -- because of him.
He lost 63 of 64 cases after his 2020 loss. He committed a coup, earned a second impeachment. Back then, major media censored him -- a step too far. For anyone normal, that would have been the end. For Trump, it would have been -- except he had position and influence.
There's no denying his cr…
The President's Failing Health
For a man that's all about presentation...
Speaks for Itself...
Resistance is an art form!
Kevin Champeny's work celebrates the beauty of accumulation how countless small elements can create depth, movement, & meaning that no single piece could achieve alone.
A reminder that the smallest details often carry the greatest impact.

Facing the Current Stigmas
I am not sure if this is being experienced nearly universally, or ubituitously; or such a prelude is an exaggeration - or too much of a stretch.
Let us begin, stay with me for a moment - and I promise if you'll keep reading this to the end - and what I will speak about will resonate. In the 5-30 second shortened attention-span and self/societal isolation we all sense and internalize, a volition, but refuse to speak about it, or express it. It actually serves a purpose if we validate it -rather than invalidate it.
The underKurrent(word type: noun)Definition: is a mood or atmosphere just b…
500 Days of Corruption = 500 Days of Overwhelm
This presentation by Chris Murphy deserves more attention. It points to the fact that this administration is taking advantage of the "flooding the zone" and overwhelm factor, to run roughshod over the American people. Just look at the 147 executive orders in his first 90 days.
Now this administration (or rather - its allies) are afraid of the consequences associated with this massive power-play for the ultra wealthy. As you're already aware, these included:
"The One Great Big Beautiful Bill" which advertises itself as massive-tax breaks for everyday Americans: which i…
George Conway's View of the 2026-Mid-Terms and Where We Move Forward
I was listening to this when I was slowly waking up this morning. It's a hard video was a hard-listen, coming from a man that was once supportive of Trump, and later served on The Lincoln Project. Suffice to say, the video discusses a lot of the same questions I've been having regarding: how we got here, where were currently are, where we're going next, and when the insanity is going to stop.
I believe a vast majority of Americans, whether they want to recognize/realize this (or not; but do so, subconsciously), is that: this is not sustainable. This cult of personality, divisio…
