We're attempting to redefine both social media and the news media landscape, as we know it! This period in time is the proving ground on whether democracy survives, through the people embodying the movement we seek, or whether democracy whimpers and dies out, snuffed out in the darkness.
People need to wake up, read between the lines and sense the existential subtext. I recognize this is all something we all feel, observe and see... yet it has become stigmatized to engage in public and social discourse about. Our gut is screaming: "we're fucked", whilst simultaneously frozen in existential fear and dread.

It's all the more critical now, that we become the the societal and political change we seek; rather than the majority being pendentic and offering up our "inferred consent" by bystander effect, alone. We're beyond a democratic and constitutional crisis; the balances of power and checks on governmental over-reach, practically are non-existant. Right now, it's only the lower courts and some aspects enshrined in the constitution that are holding us at bay, while being whittled down by lies, daily.
Right now: the one remaining safe-guard, are state's rights to hold elections on how they see fit. The time is now, the time is nigh! It's time that we all arise to this occasion; this is exactly the situation that our forefathers warned us about and did their absolute best to equip us for. However, we cannot simply accept the status quo and expect for things to change. Look at congress: nothing's getting done. We, the people, must arise to this occasion and form a koalition, kommunity, and movement - as we so desperately and disheartenedly seek change. If you're thinking to yourself: "has the world lost it's damned mind?", then I would like to welcome you home.

It's exactly this level of woeful ignorance that is sending this country straight into hell, while sadistic leadership and the ultra-wealthy continue to "flood the zone", inundate us, disenfranchise us when it comes to politics by enshrining us in the enshitification of politics so great and toxic - that we simply disconnect. That is also why we don't see new leadership rising to this occasion. Likewise, we've seen clearly that between how Republicans/GOP/Trump administration have literally gripped and rigged out elections already - outright - already, that we're too ignorant to appreciate and understand our inactivity now, practically assures their victory. Regardless of the wellfare of everyday Americans continuing to wilter, rot, and dematerialize. Wake up America... wake the fuck up! We're literally less than four months away from losing both America and Democracy; and I can't handle another - we told you so. Besides, even if we did win and there was a huge blue wave, read both the subtext of this administration and claims of widespread voter fraud, and the litany of 25 others abuses going on right now; then contrast that to just exactly what happened last time Trump Regime/GOP/MAGAts lost last time - a full on insurrectionist coup (back when there were still guard rails).
God help us all, and this world. Lord Jesus, I pray for this world, my brothers and sisters whom suffer, but are clearly not discomforted enough to notice. Personally, I'll be doing everything I can to be getting the word out for the next three months. While it starts here and the build-out of the underKurrent platform. I'm trying to bring awareness about all that we feel, and truly know and fear: but are unwilling to say, out loud. If that resonates, sign up and become a kurator.
