This presentation by Chris Murphy deserves more attention. It points to the fact that this administration is taking advantage of the "flooding the zone" and overwhelm factor, to run roughshod over the American people. Just look at the 147 executive orders in his first 90 days.

Now this administration (or rather - its allies) are afraid of the consequences associated with this massive power-play for the ultra wealthy. As you're already aware, these included:

• "The One Great Big Beautiful Bill" which advertises itself as massive-tax breaks for everyday Americans: which it is, for the ultra-wealthy, but fails to deliver for everyday Americans. At best, it dangles a carrot on "no tax on tips".
• DOGE swoops in and exfiltrates US taxpayer information, and other PII - such as social security numbers, addresses, etc. DOGE during depositions already admits to exfiltration and sharing of this information with a "3rd party". I actually truly believe the purpose of this is so this regime can interfere in the 2026-mid-terms, and 2028 presidency - full stop.
• Skirts accountability with the Epstein files.
• Starts an entirely unwarranted war, costing American tax payers trillions of dollars; spikes in gas prices; and a bunch of false claims by Trump that "affordability" is a term made up by the "radical Left lunatic" Democrats "who hate this country" (same worn out stupid line, as always)
• Right now, we see ourselves amid a job and economic crisis. Massive layoffs due to effects post-COVID, and with advent of a post-AI world. What's worse, compounded by a "post-truthism", where corruption rans rampant, and where everyday Americans cannot afford to live and are losing everything. I can't help, but feel that all of this was engineered, as now in the lead-up to the mid-terms, they don't spend one ounce of modicum in terms of voting rights, or adhering to the will of the people. Actually, it's quite the opposite. It's all abou subverting the will of the people, subterfuge, and additional psy-ops and feigned assassination attempts on the president - so he can get his ball room.
• You know what Trump is after right now, when he makes unilateral decisions to not follow SCOTUS's few times they have ruled against him. This is beyond crisis, this is a slow eventual death of America, where we don't go out with a bang, but instead a wimper.

I encourage you watch or scan this video. While it's absolutely heartbreaking to watch, it truly does an excellent job at presenting the facts and approach it directly, honestly and openly - rather than focusing on "balance" or "fairness". I think it's all the more important in this "new normal", where the Overton Window has shifted drastically over this past decade; where Trump's nonesense about "fake news media" and the whole-sale buyout of it and their capitulation to him (especially under threats of seizing their FCC licenses), has created a culture of complete and utter nonesense, that's equally idiotic - as it is, absolutely dangerous. In the meantime, Trump and his sycophants, enablers and cronies litterally bilk every US citizen (and moreover the world); engaging in extortion, blackmail, threats of seizure of sovereign states, etc. It's beyond insane. And the insanity only increases, as Trump's own derangement and fronto-temporal dementia worsens.

I was listening to this when I was slowly waking up this morning. It's a hard video was a hard-listen, coming from a man that was once supportive of Trump, and later served on The Lincoln Project. Suffice to say, the video discusses a lot of the same questions I've been having regarding: how we got here, where were currently are, where we're going next, and when the insanity is going to stop.

I believe a vast majority of Americans, whether they want to recognize/realize this (or not; but do so, subconsciously), is that: this is not sustainable. This cult of personality, division, chaos, "flooding of the zone", constant fire-starting; while everyday Americans are hurting; and somehow we allowed this guy in for a 2nd term after a very evident coup d'etat against the US - really says a lot. When you combine that with congress's capitulation, lack of reigning in via War Powers Act, and MAGA Mike "The Grindr Johnson"'s constant House of Representative recesses: it's an America beyond constitutional crisis - and a country that has been rendered a complete joke - functionally, at the direct result of Trump's hand (which by the way are small)

Republicans/MAGA/GOP are absolutely freaking out, at the prospects (in the lead-up to the 2026 mid-terms) that them and their enablers: will absolutely be held to account for their overt and open corruption. Sadly, we live in a time and day - where the abuses are so overt - arising out of the top 1% of the top 1%.

You guys have a super-majority in the government, including a SCOTUS that offers carte-blance freedom to act as freely corrupt as you choose to be; any negative outright consequences - in terms of justice, accountability and adherence (or lack thereof) to the constitution - responsibility-wise, land directly at your feet and the feet of thep president, his enablers, and allies. Furthermore, he is claiming that they - collectively - are in a massive predictiment unless they win the mid-terms. Some, including Kentucky gonressmember has gone on the record - essentially ofering up a near-identical record: we cannot/must not let Democrats ever take control over government again... otherwise, power would be held to account; they can't allow that; and moreover, Steven Bannon has already gone on record to state: "Trump is entitled to a third-term. No question. He'll get a third term and we'll see to that. We're currently in the works on working out a plan."

I have been warning for some time now, the myriad (or rather countless/relentless) abuses and strategies being employed/deployed by the GOP/MAGA parties, to ensure unequivocal win for the president and his allies - going evne so far to be open to a complete subversion of the will of the People.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is in full display here. Not only that, but what is up the sycophantic acts from Trump towards Iran?

The answer: they are unwilling to play his games. Translation: $300B being forked over to Iran, Iran is allowed to produce nuclear weapons; and it almost seems to have l'air that they have kompromat (compromising material) on Trump and there is little to nothing he can do about it. In typical fashion, he spoke about how beautiful the leader of Iran was; how he wanted to kiss the leader of Egypt and other truly deranged things that are akin to him bragging about Arnold Palmer being well-endowed - in terms of family jewels.

For me - personally, I think this is the worst I have ever seen him. At times, he wasn't making sense. The guy is likely suffering from Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) Dementia (it's been obvious with the arch and the way he stands); to which I say "good" FDT.

When Trump/MAGA/GOP continually move the Overton Window: it's important we bring it back, call it for what this event was - deeply embarrassing for America. As Americans, we'll be paying the price for decades to come (including the likely $300B+ that America will be shelling out for the damages caused to the country and freeing of sanctions; not even including the fact they are entirely unwilling - per usua - to release the agreement with Trump saying "no one knows what's in the agreement"). Per that latter point, we recognize that Trump often represents "we" (as a country) to mean, him; claims of Jesus not being able to do a better job that DJT, and a bunch of other crazy BS.

The point is, we must keep our eyes focused on the prize - the upcoming mid-terms and to not get distracted. More to come in terms of the breakdown and reporting associated with choreographing and priming, in the lead-up to the 2026 mid-terms; suffice to say, they hold every arm of government (including a deeply weaponized DOJ) and assuredly: they are not playing by the rules. For a bit of good news - though a bit too late - it seems some MAGA influencers are waking up to the reality of what's really going on and DJT not fulfilling his campaign promises. And it literally took Tucker Carlson 10 years to recognize that Trump is a dishonest POS, with his observations that:

• Trump didn't place his hand on the bible (during his 2025 inauguration and start of his second term
• Trump, with the supposed Butler Pennsylvania shooting (which I'm going to call it out for what it really was, a false-flag and PSY-OP): Trump's ear miraculously healed in less than a day (likely because he wasn't at all shot, but pulled a classic/typical WWE under-the-stage razor-blade-ear-knick. He also recognized that it was suspicious that the media were pushed and positioned into place by the secret service to get the ideal "fight fight fight" hand-pumping, with the American flag being lowered by the crane. I made all of the same observations, but once more: Trump never wanted to speak of it again; the crime scene was immediately sanitized along with Crook's body being cremated; and we were offered a full explanation of the shooter (who he was, his motivations, etc.) way too quickly to be an actual investigation (but rather an engineered PSYOP; especially them mentioning that they were certain he was a lone-gunman).
• And lastly, aside from no further follow-up investigation and Trump stating it was too-painful to speak/revisit the events of that day, he decided to have that picture framed and placed in the WH (where he may admire it daily, as the narcissistic adonis that he is). The little of the Crooks/Butler files that were released of that day, just like the Epstein files - is fully redacted (unless there is an active/ongoing investigation, there is absolutely no justification for doing so; they know it, we know it, and yet they continue to white-wash/gaslight/project and weaponize/attack anytime anyone calls for accountability/transparency/the truth. His site: truthsocial.com is such an antithesis to its namesake; and we must remind ourselves that the treasonous sins he committed on Jan 6th was serious enough, that back then in Jan of 2021: YouTube, Meta (aka. Facebook) and Twitter decided fully to censor/ban him from those platforms. In other words, back then, at least we had a legacy media/society that held him at least to some account; but given Trump/Bannon/Miller/Thiel's gambit of "flooding the zone" in the news.
• Elon's election interference (and the litany of other aberrant statistical anomalies (where he won every swing state, after committing a coup) - seems to have paid off. That is why the underKurrent.com retraces these events as they develop, when they happened, and looks at the contextual nature and alternating/oscillating/changing narratives/justifications when new developments emerge. It's important that we avoid becoming complacent/complicit when it comes to the sheer minutia and associated overwhelm created by the 24/7 news cycle, and the lack of news curation
• Certainly no real platform is taking the time to line everything up, connect the dots, read between the lines, elucidate truth, and form a coalition of curation/research/analysis by the people, for the people - with no special interest and carrying that commitment through and seeing these topics to their finality. Naturally, that includes implementing user choice, in terms of configuring their own individual algorithm with the feed, following trusted kontributors, making sense of the chaos, and not letting the engineered "TikTok age" we live in (of short form media with matching attention-spans), get in the way (or serve as a replacement) for much-needed human-connection. We recognize we live in this amazing digital age; and while social-media was intended to "connect people" and be well, "social": it's become increasingly clear these platforms possess too much of a loyalty to maintaining the status quo, filtering/censoring out trust/truth, and always aiming for a north start of "engagement", as measured by attention, virility, polarization, divisiveness, and conflict. That's not at all the case here. We always value substance over form/performance and we don't hold any hidden loyalties to big business/sponsorships - as that would be a means of wittingly/unwittingly incorporating un unfavorable bias; and we refuse to do so.
• Our loyalty is to the truth, integrity, community/shared voice, accountability/justice, and building an undeniable coalition of individuals that will stop at nothing to ensure: the truth is brought to light, that we won't forget and give into gaslighting/intimidation, and longitudinally - "we, the People" are offered the full longitudinal context, refocus, and to not give in to the bait/justifications/false-narratives/nor the misanthropic and and socially-engineered means to keep us divided and confused. That's why this site is called "the underkurrent" (aka. the undercurrent).

1) A current of water or air that flows beneath the surface, often moving in a different direction or at a different speed than the surface current.

2) An implicit (figurative meaning)emotion, belief, or atmosphere that exists in a situation but is not directly expressed or openly acknowledged. It often hints at tension, danger, or a suppressed feeling.

3) It also has other clever/moxie inferred meanings such as revealing what's beneath the surface; reading between the lines; the importance of remaining kurrent (aka. current).

And again, no such platform exists. It's also important that Democrats work on their messaging and adopt an enduring narrative that doesn't beat-around-the-bush, but instead exposes Trump/MAGA/GOP for who/what these monsters are. They are the ultra wealthy, deeply unhealed, hellbent on controlling the populace and extracting as much wealth as possible - while gaslighting society and crafting a two-tiered justice system: where the rules apply to us, but not to them. This includes unequal application of the law, blatant disregard for the constitution/upholding the law of the land/equality/inalienable human rights. Instead, they literally pervert the truth and conflate meaning (either literally, or sub-textually). We see it with them spending all of their time "preying" [on others], rather than "praying" [for others]. Most of them weaponize religion, while intentionally misapplying the parables and life of Jesus as the justification for their actions; yet, they are simultaneously not able to name a single bible verse on their own. Likewise, they value "profits" over "prophets".

The bottom-line is, this "new normal" is not normal; as they seen to invalidate the way Americans (and the rest of the world): feel the way they do and the permeating undercurrent that tangentially, lies below the surface. We must spend more time - connecting with others, seeking opportunities to find our tribe of people, and to not give into the fear/paranoia/division that they insatiably desire to keep us stuck in a perpetual narcissistic loop of their own making; as they transform America into a third-world country. It's hard imagining our country can ever come back from this, or that democracy (lowercase d), will eve be the same - given democracy relies on freedom of speech, a free/open press (not just one that caters to this Trump regime); and acting truthfully/transparently and acting dignified/honorably when exercising their positions of power. Instead, we have an out of control Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) that actively chooses to lean heavily Right extremist and continually capitulate to Trump and his dastardly administration with absolute immunity for presidential acts, willingly and woefully ignoring responsibilities relegated solely to congress (spending, going to war), and now supporting entire gutting of the American Voting Rights Act; whereby they knowingly are allowing Gerrymandering for red states, with unprecedented and illegal mid-decade redistricting - doing so without the consent of the public, and then turning back around and preventing blue states from enacting similar under the will of the people. Make no mistake about it, this is an assault on free/fair democracy and since Trump has been given absolute immunity and already handed out thousands of pardons, "vindicated" the J6 "hostages" (aka perpetrators, insurrectionists, felons), and now literally running any/all gambit/stratagems imaginable, to suppress the vote by all means necessary, while Gerrymandering, and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they will prime/choreograph/message/pre-text (before a single vote is even cast) about there being "endless corruption" and that we cannot trust the results of this election. I also feel that Trump is likely to keep the Iran simmering, so that way he can use Iran/WWIII to declare national emergency and to cancel the mid-terms. After all, we must remind ourselves, those currently in power - that hold absolute power and control right now, constantly blame democrats, 1.5 years into their charade/debacle of bad choice after bad choice, miscalculation after miscalculation, felony after felony... that they recognize (much like the GOP congressional in Tennessee that said it best, when he said: we cannot let Democrats win the mid-terms, otherwise we'll be held accountable [paraphrasing]). Since the start of this administration, there's absolutely no doubt, they are going to evade accountability by all means possible, by manipulating the markets, and sit back as Americans suffer/die/grow ill from the stress, lack of healthcare, gas prices, and affordability crisis. And guess what? They do so gleefully because the intend to make their misery, our misery. Now that Elon has hit $1T in net worth, will he be happy, quit, and become a philanthropist? Hell no. His insatiable greed, duplicitous behaviors under the guise of weeding out "waste/fraud/abuse" (translation: they are the embodiment of the literal thing that they claim they are after, and despise; while this isn't 'new' news, it's now overt and they aren't hiding it).

THE 2026 MIDTERMS ARE AN "ALL OR NOTHING" PRECIPICE FOR DEMOCRACY. WE MUST ACT.

I take zero pleasure in reporting this--but I have a responsibility to. The litany of facts, abuses, and gaslighting surrounding the rigging of the 2026 midterms is undeniable. We are witnessing the highest level of corruption in our nation's history. If we fail to rise to this occasion--to prepare, react, respond--we will be blindsided, complacent, complicit, and essentially granting our "inferred consent" by default.

I know most of us are exhausted: forced into survival mode, isolated, fearful, with some feeling hopeless that we can stop it. But here is the undercurrent we all sense but rarely voice: We the People are still the majority. Our unified voice and vision matter. Not only must we demand accountability, transparency, and justice--we must demand elucidation of truth. We must approach this with authenticity, honesty, integrity, and an unflinching commitment to getting down to what is real--above all else.

THE "BILL OF SALE" BEING FORCED ON US

We are being sold a narrative designed to break our will:

• Adopt nihilism; accept this as the "new normal."
• A two-tiered justice system with zero accountability exists--and politics is just a circus, so why bother?
• The Overton Window has shifted over the past decade into delusional mis/disinformation; projection is weaponized to enforce silence in extremist times.
• Our government has been entirely compromised, weaponized, and corrupted.
• The powers that be will never relinquish control--because doing so means accountability, consequences, punishment. They don't even bother hiding who they are anymore.
  Disinformation and propaganda run rampant through legacy media.
• Lower courts remain the last bastion--vetoed by an outwardly corrupt Supreme Court that no longer adheres to the Constitution.
• This administration holds all the cards, engaged in active cover-ups while also being the ones "investigating" crimes. Any of us can be subjected to: weaponization of the DOJ, Gestapo-style mercenary squads, emotional and domestic terrorism, socially engineered investigations on fraudulent bases--victimized by the very system designed to protect us and elucidate truth.
• The Constitution is continually trampled upon as "mere suggestion" rather than outward law.
• When all systems fail, it falls to the people--and lawfully, the military--to follow its clear instructions. That lawful aspect is precisely what makes resistance difficult when equality under the law isn't applied universally, when dissent is hyperbolically labeled terrorism, and when extremists are handed carte blanche to abuse power with transactional immunity.
  THE GOP PLAYBOOK IS FULLY DEPLOYED

I can name 20+ methods of "flooding the zone"--a strategy named by Steve Bannon, who unequivocally stated: "Trump is entitled to a third term in 2028 and people ought to get used to it." Project 2025's playbook is nearly fully implemented. Constitutional protections are being squashed or ignored. Their super-majority is continually abused.

And let's be clear: Trump denied any connection to Project 2025--only to immediately install its framers and Citizens United-aligned operatives into positions of power upon inauguration. (The irony mirrors "Truth Social" itself.) As we also realize, they have demanded a stop to the vote counts during the determination period; they are claiming that since California takes time to count the votes - that's not normal (when in reality, according to the Public Policy Institute of California: California ranks 1st in population nationwide, housing nearly 40 million residents. It accounts for roughly 12% of the entire U.S. population, and is home to more people than the 21 least populous states combined.). Thus, these claims are frivolous, engineered, and primarily interested in their tactic of voter suppression through subterfuge and false-narratives.

Legacy media, algorithms, foreign and local adversaries, AI bots, bad-faith actors, and duplicitous individuals driven by misanthropy, hatred, vitriol, and violence are systematically disseminating fake news, false narratives, gaslighting, and projection born from self-hatred, anger, and sadism.

This undercurrent (underkurrent) is valid--rooted in factual abuses of power, unilateral overreach, intimidation, blackmail, and a culture of fear designed to silence opposition and demand universal compliance. We the People have not offered our blessing. Nor our consent.

THE 2024 ELECTION RESULTS FAIL EVERY METRIC

While I don't possess direct evidence myself--suffice it to say: the 2024 results fail every metric of statistical analysis. We had a president who enacted an active coup and attempted overthrow in January 6th, only to be held entirely unaccountable--and then supposedly win every swing state.

What are the chances those results were real when we consider:

• Louis DeJoy's involvement with slowing mail delivery
• Ballot boxes being lit on fire; ballots illegally seized or destroyed
• 60+ bomb threats called into Democratic strongholds
• That doesn't even include Elon Musk: Interfering in the election via disinformation posted to Twitter, "helping people register to vote" in swing states out of "the kindness of his heart"--while capturing PII; Contributing $250M+ to Trump's campaign funds, then seeing his net worth increase by $700B over 18 months; DOGE's unfounded claims of "waste/fraud/abuse" used as pretext for dubious, immoral, illegal actions tied to exfiltrating Americans' sensitive personal data held with the IRS--likely committing one of the greatest levels of fraud in world history
  THE TRUMP REGIME'S ACTIONS SINCE EARLY 2025

A litany of abusive actions affecting voting and denying the People's consent are literally endless and a "flood the zone" tactic, which include - but are not limited to:

• Weaponization of ICE, then the DOJ
• A duplicitous Supreme Court committed to unilateral decisions outside legal precedent--granting absolute presidential immunity and gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965
• Illegal, unwarranted, unprecedented seizing of four-fifths of states' 2020 ballots; blackmailing/terrorizing Minnesota in attempts to force release of voter rolls
• New voting requirements: proving citizenship, obtaining a US passport or visa
• A two-tiered standard on gerrymandering--permitting GOP and red states unprecedented mid-decade redistricting as an absolute power play, out of consensus
• MAGA Mike "The Grindr" Johnson's continual sabotage of the House of Representatives: shuttering it for multi-week recesses whenever slight defection or accountability occurs
• TODAY IS TRUMP'S BIRTHDAY--AND I DOUBT FOR A SECOND HE WILL ENGINEER HIS FIFTH FAKE ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT. (edit: Yup... after the fact, they claim there was a drone strike from a citizen from Ohio; while not fair, at face value, this individual appears to be Republican - just like Butler Pennsylvania. They always recycle the same tactics of tactlessness, over and over again - ad nauseum.

Given his universal unpopularity (even among some MAGAs) and his failed Hitler-esque dictatorship/warmongering that launched him into a war he cannot exit--and is held to account by Iran and Western socialized democracies like the EU--he seeks engineered sympathy. This serves as predicate for emergency powers, distraction, and shift of focus.

He accomplishes multiple objectives with another "attempt on his life":

• Hide justification for using war to prevent the US from sitting on the precipice of actual depression/recession--even though we're clearly amid one, with an economy propped up only by AI/data centers/defense, global reliance on the USD (other countries purchasing bonds as the USA bankrupts itself, bankrolls taxpayers), and continued avoidance of taxing corporations or individuals with obscene wealth
• AMERICA IS SLIDING INTO FASCISM. Once we list all of the abuses together, recognize the underlying pattern amid the deluge of constant minutia and attacks of this administration - it becomes much more clear what's happening. They prefer to overwhelm us, divide us, distract us, gaslight, and project. It all ties back to the original statement: And and all actions and accusations are a form of self-admission with these sick individuals
  Not the fascism of WWII--but more clandestine, insidious. It fosters a culture of fear, scarcity, continual scapegoating, false blame. This was never about left vs. right, black vs. white, immigrant vs. citizen, self-agency vs. birther, or "Christian" vs. atheist. It's rich vs. poor. Top vs. bottom. In an era where super-corporate megalomaniacal conglomerates care only about maximizing profits, laying waste to the planet and its resources, suppressing truth through oppression/intimidation/gaslighting/projection/distraction/scapegoating/lobbying/gerrymandering/absolute power--and most likely next: implementation of Section 230 (federal internet censorship law), attacking independent media's last bastion.
  This is unsustainable. The GOP realizes it. Even MAGA is starting to wake up. You can only gaslight, delay, project--so far--before even the most extremist views start asking questions and reconsidering loyalty.
  But I am absolutely certain: To be part of this cult and regime requires selling your soul to the devil. Perhaps more striking: this current zeitgeist directly mirrors Revelations from the Christian Bible. "Christian Nationalists" who pride themselves on "truth" and "the will of God" have gone to ends of the earth defending their antichrist leader. Re-read the Bible--or read it fully for the first time--before your illiteracy, immorality, duplicity, subterfuge, and Kool-Aid drinking prevents you from recognizing your own blasphemy. You've chosen repeatedly: fiction over fact, hate over love, supremacy over equality, illegality over legality, projection over accountability, lies over truth, opacity over transparency, blind allegiance over autonomy, greed over virtue, Satan over Christ. Profits over prophets. Preying over praying.

That marks the beginning of the end. There is no coming back.
  And when you have a man commit a coup against the US and its citizens--clearly rigging 2020 election results not as an "official capacity" function but personal obsession--trivializing law, facts, Constitution, one another? That's the exact recipe offering oligarchs what they wanted. Unfortunately, in all your wisdom, you were too stupid, blasphemous, racist, bigoted, and retarded to understand that.
  This is the same group crying as taxed into oblivion, unable to afford life--attacking ObamaCare without recognizing it was ACA, losing Medicaid/Medicare--and now next on the list coming in 2026 (unless we change it): further gutting of Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare.

If you've thought this through--even if it's hard to admit--recognize: The Democrats were never the problem. We told you so. Get over that ego, deny denial, reform, and join a people-powered, people-centered coalition/movement. Together we can denounce what's happening, demand equal rights and protections under law and Constitution, and demand accountability/transparency/justice for one of the most corrupt criminal enterprises in world history. Per the constitution, we must resist.

We don't accept defections to sides unless they themselves reform--admit they were wrong, get out of their own ego/denial, and work together to build a nation/world that values human dignity, rights, and freedom.

The 2026 midterms are an all-or-nothing precipice moment for democracy. We must design and build this coalition--not only to raise awareness and drive political pressure--but because if we don't rise now, history will judge us complicit by silence.
