The timing of the Trump-regime's attempts to refashion the press room into a White House swimming pool, not only comes at a time of increasing scrutiny of this administration - but additionally raises concerns about transparency of this administration.

Given the ongoing gambits/stratagems employed/deployed by this administration/regime, it's becoming apparent that the real reason for suggesting the press briefing room be removed from the White House - is the sheer number of leaks of corruption.

The Trump-regime already discussed and floated the idea of forcing all staffers to sign an Non-Disclosure Agreement (or NDA), so they could tighten the lid and operate from more of a place of PR optics - rather than actual transparency and truth.

Additionally, this administration has demonstrated how much it is pro-Russia, interested in destabilizing the global order, running roughshod over social and political norms, and engaging in endless assaults on our democracy and constitution. Thus, it's of no surprise, that in the lead-up to these 2026-midterms - they are vacating the White House press briefing room, especially if they're engaging in similar actions to what we saw during Water Gate and is exposeed in the documentary movie, "Our Nixon". If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to. You will find a lot of parallels and mounting pressure that was experienced back then, transpiring right now.

Moreover, Trump has ratcheted up pressure on Ukraine, following their successful attacks on the Russian disinformation machine, being peddled out of the Google of Russia, Yandex, and the four data centers that were hit - that lead to several days of disinformation/foreign-influence silence from the MAGA crowd. For Trump, it always comes down to optics - rather ironically, even though his approval rating and the current optics are at some of the lowest. But, perhaps that is why they decided to pull the trigger on kicking the media out. They, themselves, know that there is currently a mutiny transpiring between staffers, as pressures mount and Trump/his family/allies/MAGA Mike Johnson - recognize that if Trump loses and Democrats with the House (and especially if they win the House and Senate and obtain a super-majority in both congressional arms), that the investigations into corruption that will ensue will be so damaging, that they don't need to preface it with corruption leaks -- of all times as now.

Again... I truly hope that I am wrong... but at the same time, don't be surprised if they try to peddle the idea that Republicans maintain their super-majority, amid a public backlash and outcry for citizen's needs not being met. This is especially the case as Trump attempts to gaslight Americans into believing the exact opposite - that America has never been stronger, better off, or that his actions have shown the world to stop laughing. Rather not so ironically, however, Trump's actions have shown how weak, out of touch, and corrupt America has become that our allies can no longer trust us, with a frontotemporal dementia (FTD)patient at the helm and one who is ever-increasingly become out of touch with the needs of everyday Americans - and is instead too focused and obsessed with money, political push, power, and unilateral over-reach and enriching himself and his friends - to ever focus on the problems at home - rather than create new ones abroad.
