OpinionConflating “Fake” with Accountability and where Actions have Comsequences is a False Equivalency

No one, and I literally mean no one - other than the president and this administration: is responsible for their own self-inflicted injuries, via abuse of power.

Personally, I think a great deal of hard-working Americans, are sick and tired of the status quo, on top of adding insult into injury - the blatant disregard for law, monopolies, antitrust violations; and certainly since the start of Trump‘s 2nd term: the Proiect 2025 agenda, trivialization of truth, weaponization of government, tax breaks for the rich, lack of response in our current affordability-crisis, whilst simultaneous gaslighting that American’t has never been stronger (its people, never happier) - while forcing antithetical “truth” anti-reality, down the throats of millions, whilst being outwardly and overly corrupt and repeating the same forever-war-cycle we saw with the lies of 9/11, and betraying our allies, in this process.

These seemingly “populist” movements, and a surgence of authoritarian, and fascist takeover in America, does seem to arise from a legitimate want from the American public. Rather than capturing the vote through legitimate, logical and persuasive appeal: it obtained it through false-promises, say anything and do nothing (or opposite), anything/everything to win, with zero accountability. However, once more, it went a step beyond that, by launching us into an illegal war, has continually in-bad-faith - subverted the will of the people, and even now (now that Trump is becoming ever-increasingly deranged and desperate): telling his supporters to vote multiple-times (via multiple methods of voting). This is under the hope that if his efforts, convincing allies and sycophants “to cheat like hell” and having his supporters swear their oaths ”to cheat in the midterms” (by casting multiple votes), that this will engineer the sort of fraud, he could then use to pretense (and support his claims) of rigged/unfair elections, muddy up the waters and sew enough chaos and mistrust in our elections, it would naturally undermine the validity of elections, and his mind - warrant a federal overhaul. In the meantime, however, behind the scenes him and his enablers/allies/supporters are leaving no stone unturned, in the effort to cheat/rig the 2026-midterm, and then likewise… if there has been a massive blue-wave and all the pollsters (even Right-leaning) have indicated Democrats are likely to take over the house and senate (perhaps, even with super-majority): as MAGA Mike Johnson and Steve Bannon have already pretensed - a lot of Republican representatives and their enablers, will be going to jail. And I must add… rightfully so. This is what happens when you reduce the presidency and congressional representation, to only serving the needs of the corporate lobby, foreign sovereign interests, or when the government is fashioned - purely for the purposes of the grift, price gouging consumers, engaging in illegal wars and corrupt acts, and then acting unapologetically corrupt and being overt about it. While I am certain, come early 2026, the corrupt powers that be that have captured our way self-governance, had gotten away with a rather relentless litany of abuses in 2025 (and with the Epstein debacle, devolving against them): considering all they had gotten away with and considering they were losing with the public, that were throwing anything and everything (including the kitchen sink) at the wall - hoping something would stick. Likewise, as Americans were losing their houses and properties due to foreclosure, and simultaneously organizations like Blackrock and Trump’s allies - seizing them up at firesale pricing (and apparently simultaneously preparing for dooms-day: between the bunkers the major platform CEOs and tech giants were building, the smoke signal of a potential geopolitical unrest, the wholesale implementation of the surveillance state - between surveillance drones and Flock cameras and AI integrations into all major databases and consolidation of such information, and the overt signaling by the oligarchs and kleptocrats -”you will own nothing and be happy”: that clearly none of this messaging went over well with the public.

Through a combination of weaponization of government, unilateral over-reach by executive branch, let alone the overt signaling-reach by DOJ and even some Right-leaning state governments and mid-decade gerrymandering - demonstrates that likewise, there has been an effort to sew fear, paranoia, and distract from the actual threats (too vs. bottom), rather than one another (left vs. right).

The truth is, the negative public sentiment is justified and never has never been clearer. Likewise, Trump and his administration’s - along with GOP/MAGA congressionals - goal of rendering politics so noxious, toxic, and unable/unwilling to work for the American people, while the federal government murder’s it’s civilians in cold-blood (amid a cold winter), amid forcing its policies down the throats of its constituents (most MAGA/GOP congressionals: now avoiding town hall meetings - altogether), and other illegal acts like MAGA Mole Johnson calling extended recess to avoid discharge petitions calling of votes for Epstein files releases, or to avoid permitting a new Democrat from being sworn in, and even instances of Trump and his administration - ignoring a definitive ruling and orders from SCOTUS about returning Garcia (sneaking him onto an overnight flight, claiming they could not return him, etc.)… the policy isn’t an accident and is always the same. Ever since SCOTUS’s teeing-up of Trump v2.0 through permitting Trump absolute immunity for “official acts” (whatever the hell that means… and likely, whatever they want it to mean): we’ve never seen so much corruption, or in-bad-faith actions from our government prior. Now Trump wants to decry that the legacy media has been weaponized against him, and it’s not fair - because while a vast majority of legacy media had capitulated to him, a few bastions remain that refuse to capitulate, pose some hard and difficult questions that forces him to respond without his gaslit script, and now his efforts to ban MSNOW, CNN and Politico from the White House — is yet again, a clear and flagrant violation of the 1st amendment.

Trump was claiming the White House was his… until amid the Freudian slip-up, he said “the White House is my… the people’s house”. Since then, Trump has gone on to say the White House is “very special” and claims he is protecting our country from communism and socialism, and that the legacy media has been weaponized against him. Yet, all that’s happened, is his actions are becoming ever-increasingly corrupt, illegal, and he’s being called out for it. Just because the man is deranged, unable to get everyone to capitulate to him (including his efforts with USPS and SCOTUS “they’ve changed since appointing them”): without a doubt, this is becoming ever-increasingly more deranged, desperate and dangerous - as Trump, his allies, sycophants and MAGA loyalists: will leave no stone unturned, in the efforts to cling onto power. Truly we’re seeing a repeat of the kind of dangerous and deranged efforts we saw with the events of J6 - hence why Trump really wants that $1.776B slush fund, and to grant him and his family absolute immunity for skirting tax law, both for past and future events. If that doesn’t tell you anything about presumed guilt, then I don’t know what will.

Whatever the case, unfortunately his efforts to screw over the everyday American, and subvert the will of the people and rule of law - is far from over. When Trump loses, instead of acting like a normal person, nursing one’s wounds, admitting fault, doing better, moving on, and attempting to win voters over with actual merit — instead: he is bound and determined to make things as messy as possible, likely engage in ever-increasingly illegal acts (or put up others to do so, and promise them a pardon), and in doing so, weaken American, our alliances, image, and influence. He can continue to falsely claim that America’s reputation was ruined by the likes of Obama or Biden; but the counter-reality exists that actually, under his leadership both from 2016-2020 and 2024-present: that our country has never been more insecure, unsafe and the world geopolitical tensions have never been greater. Likewise, Trump, his administration and the GOP - while holding a super majority in government: would love to distract from their promises and responsibilities to the American people, that all of these bad economic times, Iran war outcome, gas prices, affordability and rather fucking insane/batshit crazy policies and lack of jobs, land squarely on their lap. After all, they were the one’s that purportedly implemented massive tax relief to Americans (none of which is felt because it disproportionately benefits the ultra-wealthy); likewise - they were the ones that gutted Medicaid and the ACA (leading to many rural hospital closures, let alone forcing many Americans in financial need, to lose their healthcare); they were the ones that created a new global conflict, while covering up for pedophiles, rapists, and Epstein co-conspirators and enablers (while Trump’s name was redacted over 1M from the files, and where images of Trump were released, only to find that released evidence flagrantly removed/redacted) - supposedly for their self-purportedly “most transparent administration in the history of this country”; they continually blame Democrats and media sources - because their overt and illegal actions - that are against the law - are repeatedly called out; likewise, they are the ones that want to decry that there is mass-fraud in elections, how much better things have been, whilst simultaneously JD Vance begs for a second chance and Trump promises $5000 if Republicans maintain control over the house and senate and likewise encourages his supporters to engage in the very same voter fraud, he purportedly is so against - thus engineering a fraudulent outcome, he hopes to achieve - so he, his party, enablers, and Epstein class: all can run roughshod over the American citizen, fail to pay taxes, subvert the law and our rights to vote, and attempts to condense and consolidate power to the executive branch (by disrespecting the constitution and states’ rights, or even for USPS - to not engage in partisan antics).

The bottom-line, is a loss is well-deserved; not only that, but for Democrats to clinch a super-majority. And any further attempts by this administration to engage in subversive efforts that violates the constitution and rule of law, should promote the public to resist such efforts. Democracies are inherently fragile and Trump and his enablers, seemingly worked to ignore the checks and balances on power, while robbing the last bastions protecting democracy, such as: constitutional law and rights, lower courts, states’ individual autonomy, and - at least for now - SCOTUS: as the last defenders of democracy. Democrats have done their part to block a many things. However, that said, I’m tired of hearing the false-equivalency made that Democrats are just as shameless as Republicans. Wrong. That said, however, it will be up to the people to maintain pressure on Democrats to avoid a “status quo”-type response, should they be offered the chance and be positioned, to respond to attempting to fix the damage caused, by a form of governance and governance type that we the people never asked for; however, all the same, it’s time the American public start using their voices and become involved in this political process, if we ever hope to recover from this era of high-crimes and corruption that has nearly taken our democracy along with it.
