We do certainly live in the Twilight Zone, or an episode of Outer Limits or Sliders.

I mean to honestly find a resurgence of fascism - not just in the USA, but around the world - points to some underlying, powers-that-be, that want to subjugate the masses. To have everyday and hard-working citizens, disproportionately carry the burden, for the life-styles of those who lobby against the interests of the majority.

Democrats did not cause this... although their messaging as a caucus, would be much more powerful and resonate not only with the base - but, a majority of Americans - if they would only be willing to give up on the status quo of gaslighting and IAPAC funding.

In the meantime, to save face, this Trump-regime is telling the American people that "it's the Democrats fault", "we'll offer every American $5000 if Republicans maintain control over the House and Senate", and JD Vance's appeal to the public "give us a chance... we need more time... we're doing some amazing things and have already brought down the costs for consumers." Of course, every single one of those are lies, non sequiturs; and while this administration is too busy gutting healthcare, government, or taxes for the rich - they continue to: abandon their constituents, avoid town halls, MAGA Mike Johnson (a Trump enabler) calls for near-continual House recesses. Our framers built the branches of government and their independence, checks and balances, and even individual state's autonomy - because they recognized the threats posed when power is consolidated.

Even with our forefather's brilliant minds and enshrining all of this into the constitution - including article IV+section II, the 25th amendment, and many others - including: individual state's rights, USPS's independence, and technically SCOTUS's interpretation of the constitution be neutral and non-partisan: we've, nevertheless, seen how over the past 80-90 years a hidden agenda be continually, relentlessly, and shamelessly pursued. 10-15 years ago, any single one of this scandals, would have resulted in impeachment - bar none. I'm tired of hearing people say/frame/contend that: Republicans are afraid of Trump. No the hell not. They are allies and enablers, that serve anyone/everyone, except for the everyday, hardworking citizen and American. They pursue agendas, sew confusion/division/fear/paranoia: all while telling everyday Americans - "don't trust what you see, hear, experience, or believe. We tell you what's real, we'll tell you you're not right for feeling disenfranchised, beat-down, or that "we're doing an excellent job and America has never looked better." This antithetical version of reality they attempt to spin and sell Americans, just demonstrates not only how out of touch they are, but how they show zero integrity, zero consideration for their abuses, and zero respect for the constitution and the rule of law. Presuming the results of this upcoming election are not rigged, or massive interference doesn't occur with voting -- I believe they will find any/every way to skirt accountability, justice, and the law. Need I remind you that this president was the one that incensed his supporters to storm our nation's capitol, and then falsely claimed that J6ers were antifa/BLM and the whole thing was a false-flag? That it was just "all a hoax"? Why, then... why... then later label them as "victims" and "hostages" - rather than the true insurrectionists and individuals that betrayed our country, all because they didn't like the results of a free and fair election? Have you ever once heard of Democrats receiving $350M donations from people like Elon Musk? (or do I need remind you that Elon tripled his net worth, following Trump's second inauguration? Money doesn't grow off trees - it transfers hands; new money is printed from government grants and siphoned directly to the top; when a handful of companies - or less - own 90% of all industries: that's not a free and competitive market... that is a captive-market... just like our current captive-government.

The bottom-line is: our framers intended for equality among men (and woman), forge a more just nation of opportunity, free from oppressive regimes -- for a reason. Why then are we sliding backwards into one? Did the people truly wake up one day and say: WWII was great - we miss fascism and wish we lived in an authoritarian and dictatorial state, or oligarchy/kleptocracy? Not only is it doubtful, it's shameful. The flip-side of the same token - as it relates to religion and our nation's policies of separation of church and state: why then is a revitalized white Christian nationalism "resurging"? It's because it is not... it's a weaponization of religion and the teachings of Jesus Christ - in the bible - for pure blasphemy and self-serving reasons. They want to use Christ as a pawn, in their efforts to dominate and subjugate the populace. Additionally, they want to likewise control/dominate/and manipulate the narrative - all the while feeding the public a false explanation, cover-story, and engaging in cover-up after cover-up. This "new normal" is not, at all, normal. Many will be lead to believe the old way of life, is all but dead. However, the reality stands, that a combination of: the events of 9/11, the 2008 housing crisis, the rise of the "populist"/Trump/MAGA movement/Trumpism/Whataboutism/and post-truthism - has been setting the prerogative. Not only that, but a perversion of law - through a two-tiered justice system, protecting the rich and powerful - no matter their crimes, and again - what would have absolutely destroyed any other party - they seem to thrive within the chaos, division, and distrust that they sew. And trust me when I say it: they know what they are doing... they know the crimes they are committing (some even against humanity): hence why the regime wants to frame The International Criminal Court's assessments and and charges, as a rogue international effort to undermine the US. You don't have to look far, to see who's undermining who, who started the illegal/unsanctioned/unprovoked wars, who's making life unaffordable and unmanageable, who's policies benefit who, and whose policies and cover-ups/redactions protect both insurrectionists and pedophiles.

If they want to self-ascribe to be "the most transparent administration in the history of the USA", or "that the USA and its people are doing far better than they've ever done before": then why does the public sentiment not match? Why is the cost of living and oil prices continue to rise? Why are stakeholders racking in record-breaking profits? Could it have anything to do with the game of Monopoly - and failure to police antitrust and FTC law? Could it be a captured government that serves the upper echelons of society, abandoning its people, and making protesting/dissension - illegal? Why, anytime SCOTUS, or Republicans fail to side with Trump - do they become targets for this regime's ire? Again... one doesn't have to look far, as they play roughshod around the realities we face in the modern day. Life doesn't need to be as hard as it is. And the ultra-wealthy (top 1% of top 1%) can attempt to convince themselves they don't need society, nor rely on the ripe exploitation of the everyday hard-work, of the working class - while the hardly working class disproportionately benefits, and drowns out the color of this world. I have had to continually ask myself: do they truly believe they are fostering in a utopia: one of never-before-seen and mutually shared success? No... I argue, if anything, they are pointing us to the brink of one of mutually assured destruction. Of course, it doesn't help when our country outsourced nearly all industries, America doesn't truly produce much of anything anymore (outside of ideas) - which hurts our GDP, that corporate America used to hire exponentially in times of "record-breaking profits" - because extra-hands meant more output/productivity/profits, and the only "product" - the last bastion of hope left alive for America - is winning the AI race (but the question is... at what cost?)

I don't have a doubt that AI will revolutionize the way we live. However, just like any tool, it depends on how its leveraged and utilized. I have no doubt, when it comes to national defense - it will be a life-saver. However, should we ever truly consider directly wiring AI to our nuclear arsenal and nuclear-deterrent threats? Similarly, while AI will be absolutely ground-breaking by detecting early cancers/disease and provide innovative/new treatments, similarly it may be used to engineer bioweapons, or aid terrorist organizations with the ability to unleash potentially globe-wiping new viruses and biologically engineered threats. I still recall, in 2016, when CRISPR landed. CRISPR permits for gene-editing, by reengineering some genetic palindromic pattern of sequences - that were once believed to be "mere DNA junk". While this technology may be leveraged in a multitude of ways to provide new innovative treatments - for some of the most treatment-resistant of diseases - they can just as easily be leveraged as weapons, and obliterate our entire species.

This is why, it's all the more critical: of all times, now is the time to face, head-on, these considerations and choose what kind of world we all choose to live in. It's not hyperbolic to say that operating from a place of mutually shared benefit, and pursuing the policies that equip our people and our nation to solve some of the most difficult and existential of issues, is the right use of this technology. Similarly, AI was never intended to replace people - but as an adjunct/ally - permitting workers to become ever-increasingly efficient, and to provide innovations to industry, and arguably - even to innovate in our own lives. However, just like how the advent of the internet was promised to serve the public to connect them, we repeatedly find it has been leveraged in ways to divide us.

Therefore, Joe Neguse's ability, along with any political leader/representative's ability to provide exposee on the truth and underlying realities of not only what is experienced, but deeply felt by its nation's people: is where true success will be found. What makes America as powerful of a nation as it is, has been our diversity, our innovation, and our amalgamation of people and varying experiences. It's expressed through our engineering ideas, our art, our philosophers, and in some select instances - shown to us by those that are true leaders. Leading from a place of mistrust, manipulation, control, fear, division, paranoia, and scarcity - won't empower or embody our nation to be great. No; it will invariably lead to the slow - but continual - collapse of our way of life and dare to challenge our very freedoms, lives, and livelihood. While this benefits disproportionately the masses - for only the benefit of the few: additionally, it creates its own set of existential concerns and worries.

If we are to be a great nation, we must recognize the shared responsibility we all must share when it comes to: honesty, accountability, transparency, and operating from a place of integrity, and a dedication and commitment to what's right - not just "what's convenient". It's for the same reason that we've seen nuclear reactor, after nuclear reactor, be shutdown - over the course of the past 70-80 years - even though it's a superior (and more efficient) form of electricity generation - and better suits the current needs of data centers and a growing populace: instead, we have seen a resurgence of coal. And while global warming was widely viewed - for the longest time - as being purely/merely theoretical, the past 11 years have been some of the warmest and driest years in the history of the meteorological record. Irrespective of that record - though matching it: the dryness and head can be felt and it's undeniable. It's not normal amid the winter months, to be squarely amid Arctic matching drought conditions, and yet witness record-breaking winds sweep out of control fires across the plains: sending burning coals and materials flying miles away, creating new fires, and taking out entire communities and neighborhoods. However, nevertheless, that's exactly what we've seen. Lastly, these water problems are only exacerbated... not because data centers use the water directly to cool power-hungry and heat-churning CPUs and server racks; but instead, because all forms of energy generation rely on water to create steam, from heat. And when that water evaporates into the air - from steam - it displaces water away from a given area and cannot be easily reconsolidated. The only way/manner to regenerate these water supplies, comes from unpredictability of weather, and whether water is brought back to a given area. Unfortunately, that is something man has little to no control over, especially as weather becomes more extreme, the temperatures rise across the planet, and consumers must rely - ever-increasingly, more and more, disproportionately - on using electrical A/C units, to keep cool - amid the heat. It's a self-perpetuating cycle, for which, there's no solution. Likewise, while there are currently innovative alternative-energy technologies available to us (and the US), that permit the USA to remain more energy-independent and provide specific tactical advantages - in times of conflict: many of them have been shelved because the coal and oil industry is a billion-dollar business; and certain special interests/sectors, would rather do away with these alternative energy sources, because it hurts the status quo.
