Feed Sorts Explained

Last updated June 21, 2026

UnderKurrent offers five ways to sort your feed, each serving a different purpose.

**Newest** — Pure chronological, newest first. See everything as it's posted.

**Karma** — Posts ranked by total karma score (upvotes minus downvotes). The most popular content rises to the top, similar to Reddit's "hot" sort.

**Khronological** — Chronological oldest first. Useful for following a story from its beginning or catching up on content you missed.

**Most Discussed** — Posts with the most comments. Discover conversations that are engaging the community.

**Trust** — Our algorithmic sort powered by the multi-factor visibility score. This combines K-Score, Kurrency, Kontribution Score, Karma, Engagement Ratio, and Recency into a single ranking. It surfaces the most trustworthy and relevant content, giving preference to users who have demonstrated reliability over time.

**Which Should You Use?**

- **Newest** is great for browsing fresh content
- **Trust** is the default recommended view for discovering quality content
- **Karma** works well when you want to see what the community has already vetted
- **Khronological** is ideal for research and deep dives into specific topics
- **Most Discussed** finds the active conversations
