theunderKurrent: a platform for connection, community, voice, and elucidation of truth and justice!

https://theunderkurrent.com In the current post-truth world we live, many a netizens spend their time absorbing endless amounts of independent media, rage-bait, and minutia. While we're busy being inundated with the very next thing/abuse - without resolving the first - we lose our attention, our focus, our power, our voice, and we the people - seeking justice. Technology should be designed humanely, and haptically; meaning: offering users the rights to autonomy, control, and being able to configure the content they consume. Likewise, technology should be used to connect - not to divide and silo. While we live in truly amazing technological times, a common theme I see and experience regularly, is that anytime there's a new technological advent: it get so close tangentially to solving a problem, whilst creating a new problem. The Facebook of yesteryear, was solely focused on friends, connection, and keeping up to date with those closest to you. The modern Facebook experience, instead, inundates users with distractions and time-wasting features. With the advent of our current internet arc: when our attention and behavior eventually became the product and our data to be freely brokered behind the scenes, and the asynchronous algorithm garden-walling - was the very moment that both user choice and what was once common-ground and undeniable fact - began to be drawn into question. theunderKurrent.com attempts to solve the modern dilemma; a 24/7 fragmented news and social media cycle, that reports the news, and fails to sort through the minutia and properly curate, or as the broader question: why is this important? By democratically crowd-sourcing, and engaging in people-powered and curated news research: we can shut down the noise, provide proper attention to existential threats - of this modern day. Likewise, as humans, we're inherently social creatures. Therefore, theunderKurrent.com is a source "for the record", factual reporting, rewarding gamified/incentivized

Task Paralysis

I think amany people today deal with the common problem of task paralysis - as we become increasingly distracted. This is especially so in ADHDers and high-processing thinkers. However, this can also occur in neurotypicals as well. Taking action and keeping movement is key.

The subtextual nature of reality is actually simple and may hold the key to peace

As humans, we are prediction machines; crazy to think that we as humans, created a digital version fo how neurons work. Got me into thinking during my coding session - of why, we as humans suffer. It's a combination of invariably life/survival being difficult (regardless together with society, or alone); how the construct of money created by humans is arguably tied to everything (it empowers as it enslaves); and lastly - as humans - how we'r prediction machines (meaning there's not necessarily good/bad in terms of our fears; regrets of the past, or worries of the future - it's all about control). Hence, we should be living in the moment (present present), recognize life is hard, and understand that the social contract is all about money (for better, or for worse). That's why we must demand reforms to the current world we live in, so at least things seem easier and more equitable and fair. Money, energy, time - we're always missing one; if not two of these needs.
