Our Mission & Voice

UnderKurrent exists to restore truth, dignity, accountability, and the power of "we the People" to public discourse. Our mission is to raise public awareness, elucidate truth, track integrity over time, and serve as a cohesive bastion for connecting people in a fragmented, post-truth, post-democracy landscape where isolation and subterfuge have become normalized. This mission -- this rallying cry for sanity, justice, and community -- is the heart of everything we build.

At the same time, we operate with transparency and integrity as a non-profit, educational platform. This means we must be clear about the distinction between our organizational mission and the individual voices of our community.

User-Generated Content & Organizational Stance

UnderKurrent is a platform for community voices. The content posted by users -- including posts, comments, endorsements, and discussions -- reflects the views, opinions, and expressions of the individual authors, not those of UnderKurrent as an organization. UnderKurrent does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.

Our organizational voice is reserved for official communications, the Framework article, Help & FAQ documentation, and curated editorial content explicitly labeled as such. This separation protects both the platform's non-profit integrity and the community's freedom to speak.

Algorithmic Neutrality & Equal Application

The K-Score, visibility scoring, and all ranking algorithms on UnderKurrent are standardized, mathematically defined, and applied uniformly to all users, narratives, entities, and sources without regard to political affiliation, ideology, or personal alignment. The parameters and criteria are publicly documented in our Help & FAQ section. This ensures that our platform serves as an objective tool for elucidation -- not a mechanism for promoting any particular agenda.

We believe that truth is not subjective. The same standards of evidence, integrity tracking, and community accountability apply equally across the spectrum of public discourse. This is not neutrality for its own sake -- it is the foundation of credibility and trust.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post illegal, harassing, defamatory, or misleading content. You retain ownership of your content but grant UnderKurrent a license to display it on the platform.

Donations & Cause Gear Fundraising

All donations and gear purchases are non-refundable and voluntary. Donations are used to support platform operations, independent journalism, and community initiatives. Cause Gear purchases are fundraising items -- not traditional commercial goods -- and are provided as a thank-you for your support.

Limitation of Liability

UnderKurrent is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy of user-generated content, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Claims

TheunderKurrent.com as a platform, has a mission of valuing truth - above all else. That said, each and every site administrator and user is expressing an opinion (and acting in good-faith and reliably grounded in fact and sourced). That said, nevertheless - for legal reasons and to prevent weaponization of government - we are defining these facts as opinions. This includes admin, users, etc. For this reason, we collective defend our 1st amendment rights, and expression. If the rogue administration, intends on playing these gaslighting games and actions of bad-faith, we will expose and espouse these opinions. Truth doesn't become any less truth, in the face of bad-faith actors and fascists - whom will attempt to influence, shape, intimidate, undermine, silence, demean, or target this form of truth-telling. One cannot completely walk around issues, contradictions, or the record - in the hopes one can refashion, or represent their "alternative reality", or "alternative facts" as truth. We're not here to play that game, we're here to expose the abusive subtextual narratives and grift: the stuff you would rather have us not talk about. Back when the New York Post was independent, and not ran by special interest, they existentially used the tagline "Democracy dies in darkness" during Trump's 1st administration. What an apropos, concise and succinct and evocative philosophy. We share that view, philosophy. We are here, collectively, to serve in that stead and honor it and let it stand as a crowd-sourced beacon of truth, light, and truly "Make America Great Again" through justice and honor, not through injustice, lies, gaslighting and oppression. Unfortunately, we live in a time - in our history - where everything's for sale, including America. This wholesale sellout of one's soul, morals and complete abandonment of dignity, justice, honor and truth - truly informs us whom we're dealing with, and just how much we'll push back and not tolerate such churlish and adolescent behavior. While we have a government that's been captured and attempting to infringe on states' individual rights, along with disenfranchising voters and citizens of their rights - we strongly believe that through collective action, unity, and coalition - our voice is louder, stronger, and will not be silenced. Until such time the constitution is entirely dismantled, we hold strongly and firmly in our 1st amendment right, and right to report, inform, source, commentate, curate, and focus the discussions surrounding news - so the public may be informed, not take the rage-baiting distractions, and expose the lies, abuse and corruption for what it actually is - domestic emotional terrorism. Besides, we've already witnessed the regime's abuses and killings of innocent civilians, weaponization of government, perversion of truth, and rhetorical projection/detraction/distraction. Along with their belief, they can just gaslight the public, repeat the same unfounded/unsubstantiated/recycled lies over and over, by exploiting and hijacking our amygdalae with chronic existential fight and flight, promote overconsumption, and get us stuck in a survival loop; while in the meantime: stripping citizens of their individual freedoms, refashioning society (ala. Project 2025 style, while lying you know nothing about it, and install Russ Vought - the brain child, into your administration), and forcing the public "inferred consent" (by virtue of fear/intimidation/silence). Not here, not today, and never tomorrow. We stand strongly, proudly, and collectively as one voice of sanity - in what is otherwise, a chaotic and insidious dystopian authoritarian/fascist/dictatorship hellscape (while painting democrats, socialists, or even centrists as "extremists", "people that hate our country", "terrorists", "or individuals that are more dangerous than WWII and 9/11 - all rolled into one.") Are you being serious, attempting to be funny? How about the purported "joked" regarding "Trump 2028"? Or "we're targeting narcoterrorists operating off an oil rig" - only for once you had captured the country, and pilfered the oil to say "haha... we were actually here for the oil, all along." And to answer Trump's question for him, if he's going to be going to heaven, my answer "opinion" (deeply grounded in fact) is a resounding: no. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. We never signed up for our subjugation, subversion of our rights, and we hold vehemently to the injustices, perversion, weaponization of government, along with the self-aggrandizement, and overt decadent - while everyday Americans suffer. As much as you attempt to rewrite history, refashion reality, or tell debasing/shaming lies - we remember, we'll remember, and you'll regret being involved - in the wrong side of history. After the Red Scare, you engage in these fascist mind-games, shame on you. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This platform doesn't belong to any single individual... it belong to the people - the people you forgot with your "America first", as you have insufferably proven to its people - as a leader - you've actually made - "America last". Think about that.
